Oral Implantology, Fixed Prosthodontics, Dental Aesthetics
Doctor André Macedo always knew from a very young age that his profession was bound to be linked to medicine. He completed his secondary education at Liceu Jaime Moniz, entering Dentistry in 2002 at ISCS-N. Graduated in 2008 with a final grade of 17 out of 20.
With a keen taste for teaching, he was invited by the dean of the faculty to be professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the same institution, exercising these functions from 2007 to 2015.
Passionate about surgery and oral rehabilitation, for 10 years he accumulated many courses and postgraduate degrees in these areas, highlighting a specialization title in oral surgery by ISCS-N in 2009-2010.
Dazzled by the aesthetic requirement, he differentiates himself in adhesive prosthodontics, culminating this journey with the invitation, in 2019, to join the clinical teaching staff of the reference postgraduate course in Portugal in Advanced Biomimetics.
He practices his profession at the Arriaga clinic, on the beautiful island of Madeira, with a main focus on oral surgery, implantology and fixed prosthodontics.
